Nigerian Chicken Pepper Soup

This warm & spicy soup recipe is cooked with minimal oil and prepared with African hard chicken (aka fowl). After an hour of simmering, the meat is tender, juicy, and falling off the bone.

Ingredients

-Whole chicken -Pepper soup Seasoning -Ground Uziza -Scent leaves -Chicken bouillon -Scotch bonnet peppers -Yellow onion -Olive oil

Prepare the chicken

Clean & cut your whole chicken into parts. Remove any unwanted fat.

Saute & Season

Sauté chopped onions, then add chicken and season with bouillon, traditional spices, and pepper.

Add Water

Make sure the liquid is a right under the level of the chicken. Approx 2-3 cups of water.

Enjoy

Cook on low/medium heat for 1 hour. The chicken should be tender and ready to enjoy.
