This Air Fryer Sweet Plantains recipe is the perfect, no-oil, healthy alternative to the deep fried version we all know and love. They are slightly crispy on the outside, and soft and fluffy on the inside.

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe plantain sliced in ¼ inch slices
  • ½ teaspoon salt optional

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 350° for a minute.
  • Use cooking spray on the rack and place sliced plantains so they aren't overcrowded. Spray the plantain slices as well.
  • Cook for 4 minutes then flip the plantain and let it cook for the remaining 4 minutes.
  • Remove, sprinkle with salt, and Enjoy!
