Frozen Green Beans are an easy vegetable to make for the week. In 10 minutes, you have created a garlicky, crunchy, side dish that is calorie conscious and nutritious.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces whole frozen green beans Finger-like and long. Do not use French style or cut.
  • 3 garlic cloves chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper ground
  • tablespoons olive oil substitute avocado oil

Instructions

  • Start by bringing 2 cups of water to a light boil or simmer for blanching. Place the green beans in hot water and leave for 2-3 minutes.
  • Strain the water and set aside. Make sure not to fully cook them.
  • In a skillet, heat 1½ tablespoons of olive oil on low/medium heat. Once hot, sauté chopped garlic.
  • Add green beans to the pan with salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Once everything is combined, remove from heat and enjoy.
